I write this poem while at a work conference. In today's society there is so much woke-type education that goes against Gods Word. It seems like it is everywhere we turn and if you disagree they label you as hateful, and racist, etc.
I Stand Alone
I stand alone in a crowd of naysayers.
I stand alone with the prosperous and the players.
I hear the speeches and see the grand applause
As they praise sin and judge the righteous without cause.
I stand alone in my cry for the truth.
I stand alone as I pray for the future of our youth.
I stand alone as I cringe when I hear all of these lies.
I stand alone in a world who praises a baby’s cry.
We push killing the unborn and call it reproductive health.
We uplift sexual sin and call it equity and wealth.
We condemn the prophet who boldly takes a stand.
We demonize those who call out sin in this land.
I stand alone and though it may feel like I do.
I know that there are others who feel they stand alone too.
So for all us who stand alone where we are.
Know that your faith and perseverance will take you far.
Jesus will come one day and all will be made right.
All of the actions, good and bad will be brought into the light.
We stand with Elijah, Isaiah, and the apostles of ages past.
And our faith in God Almighty is enduring and meant to last.
So while you may stand alone, know in the heavens there is a crowd
Who is interacting on our behalf where truth is truly found.
God’s army will embolden us all to do what we must do
As we stand in the crowd of lies and everything untrue.
We are in good company with those in ages past.
So my friends, keep your faith, persevere and hold fast.
You are not alone, Jesus will always be by your side.
And your love and acceptance from above will never be denied.
