Garbage

On October 29th, President Joe Biden called those who support president Trump garbage, which inspired me to write the following.

GARBAGE

I'm a proud piece of garbage standing tall and strong.
One whom God in heaven has loved and cared for all along.
I don't mind being called that because I know it's true.
Yes he was right. God I'm a piece of garbagé without you

Mr President I pray for you because you are too blind to see
That God didn't create garbage. That includes you and that also includes me
For you to say we are garbage really doesn't hurt us at all
You are the one consumed by hate which will lead to your fall.

It is sad that we are so divided that we cannot see.
The hate of the World's free leader attacking you and me.
A man who does not even know who we are inside
A man who is filled with arrogance and pride

Sadly the precedence has been set by those that came before
We were deplorables and Nazis and oh so much more
We've been called terrorists even though we pay taxes and help our fellow man.
You see Mr President this is who you are attacking in this land.

It doesn't even shock me anymore when I hear the things you say
You call us hateful racists as you act the same way
So I will just continue to pray that you will open up your eyes
As I continue to do the works of my father up on high

I'm a proud piece of garbage bought and redeemed by Jesus Christ
But God does not see me that way. I am the apple of his eye.
So these people who judge and say things they are not to say
I will do what Jesus did and not treat them the same way.
