Followers

Social media is a big deal today. I recently joined X but I really didn't know why I bothered because I'm not a celebrity I don't have a lot of followers. I will post stuff on Facebook and it doesn't look like anyone has read it and I'm like what's the point God? Do I really want to bother with any of this? Is this where you want me to minister? And as I was questioning God about that a while back, I believe I heard Him in His still small voice say "all you need is one follower and leave the rest to me." I thought about that today which led me to write the following:

Followers

I have one follower and one like on my Facebook.

I kept going back and taking a second look.

I went to my X account and what did I see?

Nobody noticed anything I wrote including me.

Until one day I heard a still small voice saying “it's not about you.

Quit obsessing about how many followers you have and just write what is true

You plant the seeds but I water them and make them grow

The followers you have are stored in heaven that only I know.”

I then went to the grocery store and saw a woman alone.

She looked hungry so I bought her lunch and went home.

Unknown to me she had just prayed and was sure that God wouldn't provide.

This one act of love gave her hope that she thought was denied.

We never know why God calls us to do the things that we do.

He is a creator it's all perfectly planned from His point of view

We may think all this doesn't matter but we are unable to see,

God's plan for the things He's calling to be.

We live in a world that wants results for what we have done and said.

We want to take credit when it is God's to take instead.

He leads us share a post or write something from our heart

That one follower will share it again with someone who needed to hear a part.

But it doesn't really matter if we have one follower or how many there are.

Because God's the one that takes His word and carries it far.

Each interaction we have in each day that we live,

Is significant in heaven as we learn how to give.

But the most important interaction we can have with mankind,

Is not just telling them Jesus loves them and being kind.

It's to show them in word indeed the grace that he gives,

And to exemplify his love and the life that He’s called us to live

It's not to condemn those who view the world differently than us.

We are all in a different place and have a different levels of trust.

We need only to be true to Him and share His truth always in love,

And and go where he leads with our eyes focused only above.

The Rusty Old Church

 The Rusty Old Church

Standing on the outside so magnificent and grand.

Beautiful and majestic the church once stood in this land.

But somewhere along the way, it lost its voice.

And it became weak and frail by its carnal choice.

Now people walk by and look over at her and scoff.

So many have lost faith, and so many are lost.

Her beautiful appearance once shiny and clear,

Have been rusted over by doubt, disillusionment and fear.

The gardener first stopped tending and the painters ran out of paint.

Over time there were fewer prayers from the saints.

The building started to break down and there was no one inside.

To upkeep and take care of the furniture and grounds with pride.

Today as I look out at that once grand building and steeple.

I see no victory or hope on the faces of the people.

I fall down and cry at what was once grand.

And ask God how will we ever fulfill your plan?

But I looked at the church and realized I misunderstood.

The building is man's vow to God, which failed as only it could.

The real church resides inside of our hearts.

Its God's vow to write His law in our innermost part.

Standing so magnificent and strong,

Is God's Church, the body of Christ, who have been there all along.

While some may have lost their voice.

God is calling a remnant who have made Him their choice.

And all will be made right once again.

Only the building will be shining from the hearts of men.

Because the innkeeper and Head is Jesus Christ.

Who will come again and make all things right.

Where Do You Stand

Today, we live in a world of polarity.  The left and the right accuse one another of misinformation and which side do you believe?  The truth is, neither one.  I of course am a Conservative Republican, but before all of that, I am a Christian and follow Jesus Christ.   I was thinking on this when I wrote the following poem.

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

In a world of division and polarity.
Where each side claims their morality.
It's hard to see what the truth really is.
Each side has an argument for and against.

It begs the question of where I stand.
On the precepts of God or on man.
It seems when there is an election
Both sides are assured of their acceptance or rejection.

We have our beliefs and are sure we know
That the side we stand on is right and not just for show.
And when we hear the other side's rhetoric.
We quickly dismiss it as misinformation and reject it.

So where do you truly stand. What do you believe?
Are you absolutely convinced you haven't been deceived?
Do you have idols in your heart guiding your way.
Or do you put aside your point of view and look to God and pray?

So many times we reject the truth and things we don't want to hear.
Because it takes us out of our comfort zone and triggers our fear.
And in a day and age where good is evil and evil is good
God’s word is readily rejected as out of date and misunderstood.

So where are you today? Living YOUR truth?
In exchange for what God has shown your to do?.
Are you open to hearing Gods plan?
Or would you rather continue to listen to man?

It’s not always popular when God calls us out.
To stand on HIS Word, have faith and not doubt.
But when we follow that still small voice.
It doesn't matter anymore, as we have made our choice.

In a world of division and polarity.
In a world of sin and immorality.
Which road will you choose to follow.
The one of truth or the one that is hollow.

I've Got This

 I'VE GOT THIS

I made my calls and sent my texts

I prayed and asked God what next?

A peaceness flowed over my soul.

As He smiled and asked “do you really want to know?”

“Yes,” I repied “there's so much to do.

We need to win this election. We can't without you.”

Of that He said “you speak well my child.

I've got this and have been in control for a while.

I created the earth ages ago

There is nothing that happens that I do not know.

This Election is simply a speck in time.

In the big picture for all of mankind

So rest my child, rest only in me.

I will show you each day what is to be.

I don't need your help with this election.

Ive got this and you are under my protection.

I've got this and have all along.

I know the ending. I wrote the song.

I am God Almighty and do not need man.

To tell me how to fix what is broken in this land.

I got this and don't need help from you.

I am sovereign in the earth and know what to do.

I set up Kingdoms and watch them rise and fall.

I am Elohim, and I am in charge of it all.”

“But God,” I replied. “There must be more I can do.”

He smiled and said gently, “To my words, be true.

Its not in your strength, that victories are won

But in abiding in me that my will is done.

So continue to rest in the shadow of my wings

And watch as I set up and dethrone Kings.

Do only what you see me do.

And I will put my anointing upon you.”

I Thought it Was My Choice

I THOUGHT IT WAS MY CHOICE

I thought it was my choice whether to live or die

I thought I had a say, and I tried to cry.

The pain I felt when that tube entered in.

Was beyond horrific. It brought my life to an end.

I thought it was my choice as that is what they said.

They never told me there was anything to dread.

But I remember that day, and it hurt to the core.

I never had a chance to live and do the things I adore.

Mom, I know you thought you had to do it, I don't blame you.

I am just sad we did not get a chance to do the things that families do.

I am sad that you didn't get to watch me take my first steps.

And you missed the joy of giving birth as I took my first breath.

I know you thought you were doing good by me, by letting me go.

But there are so many things I know you do not know.

The hollowness in your heart when you see the prom queen.

Wondering if maybe in another time would that have been me.

I wonder too, as I look down from heaven on all of your lives.

The things I could have done, the gifts that have been denied.

The joys of experiencing motherhood for myself.

And giving you the grandchild you have never felt.

I thought it was my choice to live or to die.

Sadly, I know now that is a lie.

The choice is given to others without thought or consequence.

From my perspective in heaven it doesn't make sense.

It's not just us tiny people up in heaven, never experiencing the sun.

Or the first snow in winter making snowmen and watching Christmas come.

But it's our mommies below that live in sadness as well.

It's them who wonder, and find it hard not to dwell.

I thought it was my choice, but one had to choose.

I look down from heaven mommy, but I will never accuse.

I will love you for all time, and hope others can see.

That choice they give you does affect me.

So before you decide to throw that small life away.

Ask God for guidance, look to Him and pray.

He has answers to protect you both in the end. .

And He knows what is best, if we will only look unto Him.

I have been sharing a lot of information on prolife.  I can't even say why this means to much to me entirely, except that I work with pregnant women and watch them bring life into the world.   With that, however, there is more.   The victims of this prolific act are not just the unborn.   They are the moms who are told this is their only choice.    It is not.   They are scared, they don't know what to do and planned parenthood takes advantage of that.   I can't understand how anyone can be okay with telling a young girl that her child doesn't deserve to live and ostracize those of us who tell her differently.   These moms need guidance, love and support not just a one fix to murder their child growing inside of them.

Below are some resources if you find yourself in this situation so you can save a life and know there are other choices besides abortion.

Women's Rights

I hate controversy.  That being, said, I am realizing I need to take a stand for what I believe regardless of the backlash I receive.  The issue I write about below is very close to my heart.

Today, I listed to a newsclip of  a certain Presidential candidate talk about women's rights.   I asked myself, does she really care that much?  I cannot judge where she is coming from but I can say without hesitation there is a ton of hypocrisy behind the so called Women's rights and Reproductive Health lies being put out there.   This is what inspired me to write the poem below.

WOMEN'S RIGHTS

They demonize the right for protecting the unborn.

Telling lies about pro choice and condemning our platform.

Making it sound as if we don't care about women's choice.

When I myself am a woman who cares about our voice.

They don't tell about the babies suctioned against their will

Or about the women, who regret that choice still.

About the years of trauma over ending the life within.

No, the left would rather point the finger at you and condemn.

I have always failed to understand the rationality

Of ending life so soon with no accountability

Of throwing arrows at my claim that this is murder.

And making me look evil by demonizing me further.

I watch the news and what do I see.

Them talk about women and their rights continually.

While letting men play sports, pushing women aside.

They condemn us but allow the unborn to be denied.

I stand here amazed when I share the truth with others.

Of their blind allegiance to these left winged brothers.

I cry for them to just open their eyes to see.

This act, called reproductive health, is far from that to me.

They change the name to hide what's going on.

It was pro-choice for years and was going strong.

Before that, it was simply called abortion

Sadly it's the same, it's all just a distortion.

And when we try to tell the truth, hoping they will comprehend.

They call me a liar but do not do research in the end.

They don't want to know. They like where they stand.

Self righteously judging us from their pedestal because they can.

So I rest my case, and know it will never be denied

I will fight for the unborn and expose every single lie.

It is up to you to check facts to see if what I say is true.

Or continue in your altered point of view.

Out of the Closet

 Out of the Closet

Out of the closet we come.

To do what must be done.

It's time to take a stand for what we believe.

And not hide our politics under our sleeve.

Out of the closet they finally descend.

All of the Republican women and men.

We are everywhere you look, we cannot hide.

We are coming out and it can't be denied.

Out of the closet the voters on the other side.

Finally admit they are fed up with the lies

Voting Republican for the first time ever.

Making history their endeavor.

For years the news outlets have gaslighted us as well.

Telling us the majority is on the left, everyone can tell.

But switch the channel and what do you see?

Conservative outlets showing truth to you and me.

We are the majority, and if you are still hiding there.

Come out come out and let's show the world we care.

Let your voice be heard, and don't' be afraid to take a stand.

Let it be known that we won't take  any more illegal bans.

We will go back to the constitution and educate the left.

Teach them what it really says, not the lies that they project.

Expose the Hilter, Nazi narrative that they make up from nothing.

And let our voice be heard loudly so they hear more than muffling.

We are on the right side of history so come out of the closets my friends.

Don't be afraid of being canceled, that's going to end.

They can't control us when they see how many of us there are.

Our voices need to be raised and heard near and far.

Stand up to illegal immigration, to the lies of abortion.

Stand up to the name calling and their constant distortion.

Stand up, walk out of your prison you have lived in so long.

Come out of the Closet, together we will stand strong.
